Mixed Media (with Collage)
SUNDAY ** 4pm - 6.30 pm ** 4 x sessions for £90
In this 4 week Mixed Media (with Collage) course you will really explore what it is to create with a wide variety of media including: photocopied objects, Tssue papers, Fabrics, Paints, Pens and much more!
Your tutor will help you exploring ways to generate themes and ideas and your tutor will demo ways you can create vibrant , dynamic images using hand painted papers, fabrics and found textures too.
In this online course, you will be working from a set range of engaging themes, such a self portraits, still life, illustrating poems / song texts and also abstractions. You will learn a range of handy tips for collage and also how to build layers, add varnishes and gold leaf embellishments and how to build a library of collage materials.
Your tutor Cleo Harrington teaches Creative Collage at RHACC college and has a great deal of experience devising fun and highly creative Collage courses.
In this brand new Art in the Village ® TM 4 x week Sunday afternoon course, you will paint/decorate your own patterned papers, work with 'quickfire collage' rounds, illustrate pieces of chosen text and make a final canvas piece with gold varnish and gold leaf!
