Cleo was taught to illustrate from a young age by her mother Gillian Harrington who was Terence Conran's illustrator in the late 1950s when he first started Habitat as a furniture catalogue business.
Cleo studied  for a Fine Art degree, developing her illustrations and text into hand drawn 2D animation.
She then continued on at the Royal College studying for her Masters in Animation under the tutelage of Richard Taylor  (with Bob Godfrey and Nick Parke as guest lecturers).
Cleo's graduate film 'Grow Up' was  shown on Channel 4's Fourmations series and at The Edinburgh 'Shorts' film festival.
Cleo also directed the now infamous Alexei Sayle title sequence (with animator Kevin Baldwin) for the BBC series 'Stuff'.
She now illustrates on a commission basis, alongside running her own established Arts company 'Art in the Village' ® in London, as well as continuing her long standing teaching work in drawing & painting and Mixed Media/ Collage at:
Mary Ward Centre - Queens Square , Working Men's College - Camden and  RHACC college - Richmond.
