Do you have any face to face classes? Yes! We have Life Drawing, Watercolour and Sketchbook Drawing each month. Please see the website MENU.
How do I actually attend a class Online? All you need is ZOOM - a very popular virtual meeting platform software that is FREE to download. Once you have that, then we email you an INVITE link which you click and it takes you straight to the live class. All classes meet 10 mins early to say "hi" to each other and to get materials sorted.
How long is an online course? 7 x weeks of 2 x hour sessions with a half term break.
I am a complete beginner - will I be okay? Yes! Absolutely! You are very welcome. Our experienced and patient tutors pride themselves on helping students to feel comfortable and at ease with their learning. The atmosphere will be supportive and non competitive - so forget your school days of art - this is a fun, friendly and non competitive course. Just look at the testimonials page for a sense of what the classes are like.

What is the minimum Age requirement for your Adult courses? The minimum age of attendees is 17 years old. We do offer kids' classes during the summer (such as our Animation course in August ) and our tutors also offer an ONLINE specialist Portfolio guidance / support service to help get folios together for art school applications. This costs £120 per 60 minute session or £80 concessionary rate if the student's parents are on benefits.
For Art Holidays guests should be aged 18 years plus. There is no maximum age but you will need to be fit enough for leisurely ambling / walking around drawing locations /sites.
Do you have any certificated /qualification courses? Not now, but we may do in the future. However we can offer Art in the Village TM achievement certificates if requested.
Do you have large class sizes? We keep class sizes to a maximum of 15 in any regular online Art class, so each student gets the attention and guidance they need. But with guest lectures / art talks we tend to have larger groups of about 20 plus.
Do you do drop in session prices? We can occasionally offer 'drop in' sessions, but there are priced higher at £25 per drop in session.
Do you give refunds if I miss any classes? No sorry we don't offer refunds on any missed classes. And we dont offer any 'make up' classes.
