Cleo Harrington MA(RCA) established the first creative collage class at RHACC college in Richmond over 6 years ago, which has now become so popular that there's usually a waiting list to enrol.
Drawing upon years of teaching collage at RHACC, Cleo is bringing a similar class: 'Coffee and Collage' to Muswell Hill.
It will be a fun and yet very creative course, which explores a wide range of materials and is accessible for all levels. Collage is also a great medium for writers or illustrators wanting to explore combining text and imagery. Or for painters and designers wanting to experiment with colours and textures too. Collage art is a great leveller, because anyone can have a go! And cutting, sticking and tearing is a great way to relax on a Sunday while you explore a wide range of collage styles including: woven papers, Text & image, themed collage boxes and self portraits too. All materials will be provided including: painted papers, glues, scissors, fabrics, varnishes, and sequins too! Plus you get 'bottomless' cups of free fresh coffee with biscuits for every session. Each Sunday session once a month, we will explore a new theme inspired by an established artist such as: Hannah Hoch, Henri Matisse, Peter Blake, Andy Warhol, Mickaelene Thomas and many more besides! So come and join us. We guarantee you will enjoy it!
